Sprayberry Fastpitch is proud to announce that the 2009 season will be fielding a JV team in addition to Varsity.
It has been the goal of coach Jen Young to make this happen.

With her support of a feeder program, there were a number of 8th graders that played under the Sprayberry name last fall. They are now rising Freshman for the 2009 season and have provided the foundation for a JV team that had been missing since the expansion of other new high school districts that diluted the availability of players who would have gone to Sprayberry.

The feeder program is an independent team, authorized by the Sprayberry Booster Club, that encourages middle school students to play softball as The Sprayberry Junior Jackets. The Junior Jackets are part of the Cobb County Metro League which fields teams from numerous high school districts.

You can read about the Junior Jackets as well as the Junior Varsity and Varsity teams on this web site.

Follow the progress and be sure to show support for all of our teams!
